anxiety + cipralex

I have been med free for 3 months and 1st month was great but am slowly getting worse and worse. My shrink had suggeseted cipralex and I am now resigned to the fact I do need med and although I worry about the long tem effects of them, at the moment I dont have a life so I dont have an alternative.

Has anyone got any success stories of cipralex for anxiety:scared10: :scared10:

Yes!

I took them for 3 months a couple of years ago, and they really sorted me out! First couple of weeks it was worse, but thats one of the side effects, and you really have to stick with it. I started feeling better at about the third or fourth week, then I was only anxious when I was due on my period. By the end of the third month, my symptoms had all gone and I felt great.

I had to come off them as I was pregnant, and now my baby is 9 months old, and I am back on them again. I am going through the increased anxiety stage at the moment, as I've only had them a week, but I know it will get better.

Stick with them, they worked for me! :hugs:
