Oh the joy of being back at work

I've been back 2 days after being off for 2 weeks and while I am coping with the job no problem the fact the job is so uninspiring and not what i want to do my heart just sinks when I enter the door. I find myself not being able to focus on my work and making escape plans!

I guess I'm lucky to have a job which pays OK and is fairly secure, and that I am well enough to work at all, but I would so love to hand my notice now. I know the real world does not work like that as there are bills to pay, shoes to be bought and a house to do up.

Could be worse I guess and I think a nice glass of wine is now in order

Its good that you are back at work although I know what it feels like to be in a job you dislike as I was in the same position a couple of months ago.

Have you thought about looking around and seeing what's out there while you continue to work? You might see something you like and can apply for?

why not try traing how your at work on a course to do wha you want?
there is no point working somewhere you don't like as your not going to give
it your all and you been unhappy with it maybe its time to try a free angle :d
