tongue

My tongue has been odd for the last atleast 9 weeks now! :weep: Ive been to 5 different people and even an ear nose and throat spec, and non of them have been able to help. So now they are sending me to hospital. I have like a smooth patch towards the front of my tongue. Most the time I cant feel anything there, but then other times when I eat different foods it really hurts! They tested me for a couple of things but they came back negative. Anyone had anything like this before or know what it could be?!!

If it does than you are fine, it's called a geographical tounge, no one knows why it happens, the taste buds die off then grow back off and on, I get it and I get it quite bad when i am under stress. harmless totally harmless they can hang around for months at a time.
