burst vein? (reply now please)

hey, i have just noticed a green coloured mark on the palm of my hand and i'm really worried it's a burst veined. i'm so scared, at first i thought i had ink on my hand or summit but it won't come off, i have been scrubbing for ages.
any ideas what it could be? have i burst a vein? is it dangerous?

Hi Louise

I sometimes get those and i think to myself that is early stages of a bruise. Can you remember if you banged your hand or something? I often get them but can't remember banging it. Try not to worry. I'm sure its not serious. You could always get it checked out by your doctor if you feel worried but try not to stress to much hun (easier said than done i know).
