Help needed with my computer

Hi all, I know this is not linked directly with panic etc but in one way it is, this week my computer stopped working, I almost stopped breathing, but I have managed to have my hard drive put into old computer, the trouble is I have no taskbar and I just wondered if any of you had any idea how I could get it back.
I think its disappeared completely??? Is this possible.
I have no double arrows anywhere so cant drag it back, Ive pressed the window button and no sign,
I am so lost, cant go on msn or turn it off or go into the programmes, thanks for help.xxx

If you right click where the toolbar should be do you get a bunch of prompts in a white box to come up?
If so one of my options are close toolbar so I wonder if yours would have a "open toolbar" or something like that.

Also if you can find your task bar and start menu properties there should be a way to reset it so that your task bar will be there.
That is under properties when you right click where the task bar should be.
I know it should also be in your control panel but not sure how you would get to it.
Hope it helps altho I'm not real good at explaining myself!!!

does your comp have a restore system ? you could always restore it to an earlier day that it was working correct on

Hi, thanks to all for replying and offereing help, unfortunately nothing will work, Ive got on here tonight, by reinstalling wondows cd, its only way I can, also got on this aft by doing same,but as soon as shut comp down it all gone again.Takes almost an hour to install.
Got chancre of an ex display at £160 perhaps use my redundancy to buy it, cant do without comnputer.

Hi all, well crunch came and I could use it by re installing wiondows everytime, then it just went, got another one, not a good weekend another three big things gone too, thanks for reading.xx
