I have the same went to docs on friday. Ive been having pain in my stomach and it is really blown up and hurts when i go to the loo. I have also been needing a wee more and that hurts too. Doc told me it was prob a water infection and i have had tablets but still got the wind pain. I do suffer from IBS so maybe that was linked. Worried there is some kind of growth or sist. Ive had this for 3 weeks now.
Help advice please.

Are you constipated? I suffer from severe diverticular disease and I get wind sometimes (how attractive I sound!). It is probably all connected to your IBS. It could be a coincidence your wind and wee problem at the same time.

Don't worry remember the saying "Wherever you be let your wind go free."

If you want to know about bottom-burps, ask a blokey, we're experts :)

Diet, stomach upsets and IBS are the main cause of wind.

I use Xylotol instead of sugar. That's really good for brewing a decent Mistrale.

Believe it or not pumping is good for your bowel, I've forgotten why but it is - I think it may be to do with loosening build up (sort of like an airy enema).

Wind isn't usually listed as anything to do with bowel cancer, you're more likely to get other more serious symptoms first so I wouldn't worry on that score (really thin stools etc).

Hi Bexy,

Try not to worry about the last posting. Im sure it is quite normal. We all go through bouts of this sometines. Although, I can understand your worry, as I would pick up on sometihng like that aswell. Especially being a health anxiety sufferer.

Please try not to worry.
