I am on 5mg of Cipralex (I was in a state worrying about my cat who was ill) I have had no side effects being on it.

Hi bab....I was on 20mg cipralex a couple of years ago and did feel strange after increasing the dose too (I took 10mg initially then was increased to 20mg after 1 month), however this settled down gradually as my body adapted to it...all in all I found it really helped.

Are you due to see your GP for review soon so you can tell him your concerns?

Bab

Have you read the posts in that forum? Seems a few are on it.

Hi Bab, I wouldnt worry, there are quite a few options of meds and not everything suits everyone, I was on the drug citalopram and I was convinced it would work especially after a month as I found out my friend had been on it previously, I continued to take it, but eventually was taken off it and swapped, the other suited me better, like Nic said read all the other posts available, and keep in close contact with you GP.
You are not a "broken record"
