It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.

Hiya Lisa, You are not alone feeling worse at night, I try to do things that i find relaxing: have a hot bubble bath with candles, some soothing music and then relaxation for 30 minuites with some lavender oil burning. I also write in my journal how im feeling and possibly why, just writing random words helps.

Hopefully ive given you some ideas.:)

Hi Lisa

Welcome to the site

You are right everything is worse at night. Its when everything is so quite and more relaxed that you mind has more time to think.

Colette is right it helps to write it down even if they are only random words

Hi Lisa

Welcome to the site. You are not alone at all and we all appreciate how it feels. I used to be terrible on a night but thankfully i managed to calm it down a bit. Now not every night is that bad, but i do know how horrible it feels. I felt out on a limb being by myself as i couldnt just pick up the phone to call someone or go out for a walk. But this site has helped me loads and there are always people around to talk to.

Love Sal xx

Hello and welcome :)

I use meditation CDs at night to help me sleep. It's a great distraction technique. There's the old one of a milky drink too if that helps :)
