Drugs, How Effective?

Will drugs stop the attacks totally if I take them on a daily basis?

Or do the drugs just make the attacks less often?

As said by nomorepanic depends on how the drugs suit you as we are all different. I found diazapam chilled me out big time when i was very anxious, but you can soon get addicted to them. I'v not had any meds for a few days now and in all honesty i'm not doing too bad without them.Mainly been off them as i'm on antibiotics for a blood infection due to a bad tooth. Its well worth giving the meds a chance and hopefully they will make you better sooner rather than later. If your anything like me i hate taking pills and very warey of them and lots of people are the same on here. If your a bit warey of them just ask your dr for reasurances. Remember that most of the meds are tried and tested and have been used for years. One may help you more than another, but its well worth giving them ago.
