Hi all from tomorrow i will be changing some things in an attempt to greatly improve or make my anxiety better.

I will be cutting out all caffeine and chocolate and fatty stuff and replacing it with lots of water as well as lots of fruit and veg, I will also be making sure that i get at least 30 mins excercise per day.

I will also be doing relaxation and breathing techniques.

I also currently take vitamin b complex, omega 3 fish oils as well as my Cipralex medication.

I was wondering about thought processes as people say you have to change them but i dont get many bad thoughts except when i am feeling really bad i think that something bad is going to happen.

Can anyone suggest other ways or ideas to improve anxiety as well?

Comments and ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

hi Andrew,

I think that the changes you are going to make are very important and I'm sure they will have a positive effect. Keeping a journal might also be a good idea, especially when you are feeling down. This can often help you pinpoint what makes you feel anxious and if you do that, then you have more chance of stopping that from happening again..

Hi there,
All the things you mention will obviously be of benefit to you, but i think you sound so positive in your attitude, you will be fine. I find distraction to be the best thing when i start to feel 'bad', take care and let us know how you progress.
