Hi, I take citalopram for panic attacks. I take one 20mg tablet a day and three days ago a muscle in my left calf, on the side of it, started twitching and it still is doing, constantly though not on and off.
Yesterday evening one started in my left thigh on top in a thin line like on my calf and is still twitching now. Now today they are still doing it and another one has started underneath my ribs on the left side also, just below, not inside.
It seems like whatever is causing it is getting worse and it seems to be only my left side and climbing up my body.
My worry is, what if it makes my heart start twitching?
I nearly had a panic attack last night and it would have been the first one in about 2 weeks I think.
Could I have serotonin syndrome or something?
