My name is Charles, I am aged 55 and I have just joined. I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for 25 years now. I have somehow managed to live with it. I have tried lots of things over the years with varying degrees of success. My main area of concern at the moment is a driving phobia. I am OK on single carriage roads, but dual carriageways are tough and motorways are out of the question. I know the only way to conquer this is to do it and desensitise yourself, and I am planning to start going out regularly and make myself practice on dual carriageways. Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

I have to commute to work everyday. Believe me you will get used to the freeways! (as we say in the USA)
