Hey Melvin and welcome!

This is one of the classic anxiety symptoms and I can totally relate to what you are going through. I am battling with this situation myself, near-constant air hunger, tightness in chest, sometimes pain, etc. It's very frustrating and can be quite scary at times. It pretty much goes away if I can distract myself, but that's not always easy to do.

There was another recent post about this: http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=35047

Hi Melvin
:welcome: :welcome:
Yes i have same anxiety especially when i wake up in the mornings, i feel as though i cant get enough air or a big enough breath in...scary. The easiest way i can overcome it is to occupy myself doing something else to help take my mind off it, but like nic says its not always that easy is it.
Im sure you will find lots of people on nmp who can relate to how your feeling and give you support.
Take care
