Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum and am so happy to have found it! Lots of helpful information and always nice to know we are not alone.
I am 32 and have had anxiety since I was a small child. The last year has been terrible and although i was anti medication for a very long time, I made the decission to try it. I tried effexor first, and stopped after a couple days. I felt horrible shaky, sick couldn't leave my house. I think I made it worse by being negative about it. I swore I wouldn't take meds again but thought I would give it another try. Yesterday i started Cipralex. So far I feel pretty good ( I know I won't feel the effects for several weeks) a tiny bit quesy last night, a little shaky and kind of fuzzy. I have heard that effexor is a much stronger medication and harsher on your system. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone taken Cipralex and if I am going to get side effects how long before I will feel them and will they last all the time?
