I was just wondering about Propranolol. I live in the US and I have never heard of it before. Does anyone know if they have it here? And does it help panic disorder and anxiety? They have me on Klonopin. And i have been on Xanax in the past. But I would like to find some meds that are not addictive. My doctor says there is nothing else, but I would like to know if there is.

Hi Suzanne, we do have propranalol here. It is a beta blocker used for high blood pressure and as a block for adrenalin if you suffer from anxiety. It does slow you down a bit and make you a bit sluggish but does also help to calm things down, it's not addictive either so no worries there. Hope this helps.
