panic im poisened

I was cleaning the bath last night and before I washed my hands I sucked my thumb (I know what a baby - I do it when im tired)
Anyway - I got a mouthful of bathroom cleaner and now im worried that I am not well because of it:wacko:

If you were going to be illl you would have been last night.

I think you have to ingest quite a lot of these cleaners to cause any harm.

Which one was it ?

it was a mr muscle bathroom cleaner..

If you were going to be affected by the cleaner then it would have happened within an hour of ingesting it - time for it to pass through your stomach. You'd probably have to drink at least a few spoonfuls for it to make you very ill, I think. A trace of it on your thumb should fine, don't worry :)

my chest does feel a bit burny - like heartburny

I am sure you will be fine my husband one mistakenly gave my little girl a spoonful of derbac M headlice lotion instead of calpol. She was fine, i think you need to drink a lot of it.. I rang the hospital and spoke to the poison unit when it happend to my daughter they were really helpful.
