Tricyclics for anxiety

I'm withdrawing from Seroxat but need something to help with anxiety. (20mg-2mg over 1yr after 6yrs on seroxat)

Could anyone share their experiences of tricyclics for general anxiety disorder and insomnia? Which ones are better for these problems?

i took lofepramine a tricyclic for depression

when my anx became bad it didnt seem to thelp that and i was put on a ssri

the ssri helped me sleep and helped control my anx

guess we are all different and we all just have to see which suits best

loferpramine worked well for me with little side effects cept v dry mouth and oral thrush cos of it
