Anyone downloaded IE8?

OMG Anyone downloaded Internet Explorer 8? I did last night and it's mucked up my comp. I'm having trouble with any kind of drop down menu. I couldn't get into the 'Active Topics', so I can't see new posts:mad: well apparently smilies work anyway.

Anyone else d/l'ed it and having problems? Please get back to me if you can. I can't see anything on web about it causing probs:ohmy: :blush: Even everything on this site seems to far to the left & I can;'t see everything. Bloddy IE, wonder if I can go back to IE7?!:scared15: :scared15: :scared15:

Now I've seen sites where people are having problems. I'm afraid that if I uninstall it, I won't have IE7 back.

Sorry I should be on some kind of tech forum for this.

I can't seem to uninstall the dang thing, so am using Opera browser.

My advice: Don't use it!!!!!!

Have you tried restoring your computor? You can take your settings back to a date before you installed IE8....just an idea, i use it if ive a problem..
Go to Acessories - system tools - system restore.

titch - not sorted, will use Opera until such times as microsoft decide to sort the problems ppl are having out. Well done you if yours is ok.

lesleya - My restore point don't work! Don't get me started, lols, need a new pc...................anyone???????????? LOOOOOOOOOOOL:D :D :D

I managed to uninstall IE8, so now back to IE7, but I feel Opera browser is quicker anyway:D
