Pneumonia....

Hi,

I need reassurance. I recently developed the following symtpoms and im getting very worried. I have a tight throat and chest, phlegm, headache, breathless, slight discomfort when breathing, slightly light headed and generally feel ill. Im at work because there is nobody else to cover me but i started googling symptoms and im worrying that I have pneumonia???

Sorry to hear you are not doing so well, maybe this will help. With pneumonia you will run a fever have deep chest pain and your cough will produce a thick colored mucous. It is also usually preceded by a chest cold or bronchitis, which is in the top portion of your lungs, that didnt get cleared up with antibiotics. Anxiety can cause alot of symptoms, but you will know if it is serious with this. Try taking some deep s=breaths and holding them for the count of 3, with pneumonia you couldnt do that without breaking into a deep chest rattling cough. I hope you feel better soon.

do you smoke? cause i do and get those symtoms
