I was doing good for so long...and I've started having panic attacks again. I think it may be stress from college, but I'm not sure.

They always happen at night with these symptoms:
-tight chest
-chest pain
-hyperventalation
-heart palpitations
-restlessness
-cross-eyed on occasion, hard to focus


I've tried slowing my breathing, reading, listening to music/running water, texting/calling friends, smelling lavender and other aromatherapy things. None of these work for me...HELP!!!!

PS: I also start panicking when I start to fall asleep because I feel like, well, I'm falling. lol...

hi jess,

sorry ur panic attacks have come back :(

i also feel panicky at night if ii kant hear myself breathe...but havent actually had another 1 yet

but wat i do is lay on mi back..put mi thumbs just under mii ribs and mi hands on me stomak...then count...1 breathe in an out..2 in an out..3 in an out

it takes ur mind off tha bad things ur thinkin an it shows ur breathin oka an that ur not breathin from ur chest but from ur stomak! :)

it reli helps me so u should givee it ago an also tha countin makes u faal asleep prety easily
