no thnks citalopram

made me get Major pannick last night after my 1st 20mg. Am not taking them anymore.

I'm no medical expert but i am pretty confident that the citalopram itself did not make you have a panic attack. I think that the most possible reason is that you had anxieties about taking these new meds.
I say this because the same thing happened to me when i starting taking meds a 6 weeks ago. I got myself into a right state thinking that i was going to have a funny reaction to it, i went to bed with it playing on my mind and ended up having a panic attack.

Everyone's different with these pills. I tried them several years ago and had to come off them because of the severe anxiety they caused. I woke up the first mourning after taking one and was completely spaced out. I didn't have clue where I was. I then persevered for a week taking them during the day but had to give up after a week. Unfortunately this medication is not suitable for everyone.
