i know there has been a few threads aying not to mix co codamol with cipralex - do you htink its ok to take paracetamol as i have a headache

but for that kind of advice I would call you Dr quickly they wont mind telling you over the phone.

Only listen to your Dr about things like that

I have not heard of cautions being applied to mixing citalopram & paracetamol.
The drugs that i am aware of that you need to be careful with is NSAID so your ibuprofen etc & some pain killers such as tryptophans & triptans used to treat migraines as they will increase your serotonin. In addition some stomach tablets eg, cimetidine & omeprazole as they will increase your gut activity thus absorption rate.

I have administered co-codamol & citalopram out plenty of times together, however this is not to say that it is allowed. I personally would ring your local phamacy today & clarify this with the pharmacist.

I was prescribed citalopram togather with co-dydramol last week which has 500mg of paracetamol per tablet. The doctor would not prescribe NSAID's as they are not good with citalopram apparently

Been taking them and no probs but check if you are not sure.

I take solpadol 4 times a day which is 8 tabs in all , for my sciatica , these tabs contain 500mgs paracetamol and i am on the same drug as you are cipralex,,, Its fine to take them together , my doctor has prescibed them for me for a few yrs now.. hope this helps you

Sorry you are correct in saying the above but citalopram is not the same as cipralex , cipralex is citaloprams sister drug they are similar but not the same. I'm a ex dispenser and i am on ciprolex x:yesyes:
