how do i tell my parents?

I want to tell my parents about what I think is my OCD...but I really don't know how to tell them?
Basically I have to do everything at least twice, otherwise i don't feel safe, and if I do certain things I am really scared that really bad consequences will happen to me.
Please help me x:shrug:

Always the best option is to tell:blush:
Write them a note it is much easier than face to face.
If they know they may be able to help or at least be understanding:yesyes:

yeah i think my dad might understand better than my mum - but i'm scared they won't believe me or think that i am exagerating and sweep it under the carpet

OCD is hereditary so the chances are that one of your parents as had OCD.
I had OCD, so did two of my sisters and both my children have had it. Usually you grow out of it.
