eyes

So I've been wearing contacts for about 6 years & I've had no problems with them ..

Now my eyes are red often & whenever I wear contacts my eyes get really red after I take them off & I was wondering if this was associated with anxiety .. Has anyone had the same problem ??

I don't know, it's just a pain wearing glasses all the time now :blush:

Hi jems, I'm shortsighted and a few years ago decided to try contacts, did not work for me, my eyes got extremely sore, dry and red within an hour or so of putting them in, to the point where I was desperately clawing them out. My optician said some people just have dryer eyes than others. But you've been OK up to now. Are you spending a lot of time in a dry or air-conditioned environment? Otherwise maybe you've got a mild infection, like conjunctivitis? Maybe see if your pharmacist has some advice, drops might help, or maybe see a doctor if it doesn't get any better in a week or so.
