Hey, Can anybody suggest any relaxation techniques?

Or ways to keep your mind off of other things?

I use guided relaxation/meditation cd's. I always listen to one before bed and try to listen to one during the day too.
I can recommend Glenn Harrolds 'Deep Sleep Every Night' and 'Complete Relaxation.
A series of meditation cd's from Meditainment. You can listen to a sample here
http://www.meditainment.com/
and Paul McKenna's 'Deep Relaxation' cd which was actually a freebie in the Times, but it sells on E Bay.

Other than that, I paint, draw and write.

Relaxation is really about finding what works for you. I love my guided imagery cd's but for some they would not appeal at all.

Good luck with finding what works for you.

Quite a lot of things, but I find that swimming is my favourite one at the moment, as it relaxed body and mind. Also just taken up yoga for the same reasons.

I go to the movies and watch as many as I can in one day. Something about the darkness and action keeps me calm and happy.
