so scared i might have c in the brain...

last few days ive had 2 dizzy spells..first one only lasted a minute, but yesterday i had a baaad dizzy spell that lasted about an hour, and made my body and mind feel awful for the next few hours....

leading up to this in the last two weeks my eyes have felt odd.....

pls, im trying to avoid googling, and am heading to the docs now...

pls any advice would help....im really hoping its something fixable, but the dizzy spell was so so scary, im terrified it might be a tumor.

my partner said if it was that there would be other symptoms that i dont have...he thinks it might be a vertigo like thing and wants me to go to ent specialist....something about crystals in my brain not working...i hope it is this and not somehting worse.

Wow Peach this is a common symptom. I get waves of dizziness which in turn cause anxiety and create a unsteadiness. I had it while driving the other day. Nothing to worry about just another common symptom of Anxiety. Once you convince yourself deep down that it is just a symptom of anxiety then it will go.

I have a phobia of heights and get the same symptoms of dizzies when high up. This includes the jelly legs etc.. thats what proved it to me.

Dont worry just try a bit of deep relaxation.

Peach, it's most likely anxiety and/or a vestibular (inner ear) problem. I've had this heaps this year, including an inner ear infection that made me feel like I was living on a boat for about 3 weeks :). B tumour, when it manifests symptoms, usually shows signs of additional pressure in your head - blurred/double vision or reduction in field of vision (like you're wearing blinkers), nausea, vomiting, stuff like that. See the doc, but you'll be fine chuck. Let us know how you get on.

hi and thanks for your replys!

so nice to get responses to all questions, even if silly...

ok, went to doc, she said ive got an ear infection of sorts and gave me stematil for the dizziness. she said if it persists beyond a few weeks to go back and she will send me too a ENT specialist.

and, ended up googling, BUT, it actually helped me as the symptoms for brain tumor were very different from what i have experienced...so maybe sometimes googling is ok?

ive had a middle ear infection 2 yrs ago and it was so like being on a boat..haha.....very dizzy when my head was on one side...this is different tho, but doc reckons cause infection is in a diff area of ear.....who am i to know better eh?
thanks again everyone!
