tongue and throat

I have a has a sore tongue for a couple of weeks, right down one side. It now seems to be fading, hopefully! I am left with a sore/ dry feeling right at the back of my tongue, right where the large tastebuds sit on the rear of the tongue. when I talk my tonsil itches, and when I dry swallow it sometimes feels a little uncumfortable.

Anyone else had this? it is weird!
