Hi,

I'm not normally the kinda of person to have trouble sleeping, on a bad day it is a godsend because I can escape my feelings. However recently I have not been sleeping much maybe around 5 hours a night. I have noticed that since I stopped sleeping as much my anxiety has virtually disappeared.

Anyone have any idea why this might be, or has any one else had a similar experience?

Thanks :)

I have no idea really, but could it be that you feel detached from reality, therefore your anxiety seems more distant? Does that make sense? I know that when I'm deprived of sleep I feel dreamy and often disconnected from worries.

i miss sleep alot, so i have noticed too if i don't sleep that I feel a little high and more calm.
I think it's because I'm too tired to be anxious kinda like being sedated,
but then when I try to sleep after being awake for ages I get very anxious.
