Hi, recently i have been taken off incapacity benefit (currently appealing). And put on Jobseekers allowance, but i've been told this will only last untill march 2009. Due to not enough NI contributions, my question is "if i have not found a job by then what happens then with no money??

Hi,
Think you will get income support. You can't be left with no money or can you? It's a minefield these days with so many different benefits and allowances.Someone may be along to help with the answer but if not,try citizens advice.Good luck and keep pushing for whatever you are entitled to.:hugs:

You get income support and tax credits for children if you have any the gov wont leave you with no money.
What has your doc been signing you off with and are you not getting sicknotes anymore?

does anyone know what tax credits you would get , if any once you are kicked of IB, ESA , if i have to claim JSA i will have to decline their generous offer as i can not entre the job centre let alone sign on or even get a job.
does a "house wife" get working tax credits, or am i just grasping at straws here?
