Hi Aaron,

Welcome to the site! You will find lots of help and advice on here and the people are fantastic!:D

A lot of the symptoms you have described sound a lot like anxiety. I have experienced the symptoms you have and I know they are horrible and scary.

You say that you have been to the doctors and have had a 7 day monitor, what was the result of this? Have the doctors explained to you what is causing your symptoms? Have they offered you any medication?

I doubt very much it is anything serious because of your age and how fit you are. I really do think it is all anxiety related. Anxiety causes so many weird symptoms.

I think you should go back to your doctors and tell him how bad these symtoms are making you feel and maybe they will be able to offer you some more support and advice or maybe even some medication to help you feel better.

Hang in there honey. You will be fine!

constant weakness in body parts, i had this back in June when my anxiety began. I was so sick of it. My right arm felt like it was asleep. Constant headaches? Do they go away with sleep? Once I had a headache for 12 days straight. I was so sure it was a tumor, turned out to be stress!

Hi Aaron

the headaches are prob tension - when im anxious i am constantly clenchingmy jaw but i dont realise half the time and i get bad facial pain - it can also feel like a tight band across the head. anxiety plays mind games and whatever your worst health fear is - you will prob get a symptom as you are unknowingly focussing on it. your prob ok when you sleep as its the only time you are truly relaxed.
lots of love

hi,

i too suffer from very similar symptoms to you. probably the only difference is i have been suffering from daily headaches for the past 9 months. the anxiety that comes along with this is horrendous. i have seen 3 different doctors, a neurologist and have got my parents to take me to a&e twice. on every occasion i have been assured nothing is seriously wrong with me (brain tumour is the main fear), and the majority have diagnosed tension headaches the neurologist in partiular.
i have felt fine for the past few months until a few days ago i started thinking that my hands were weaker than normal, and getting the odd tingly feelings in my fingers. do you feel like your arms/hands are weak but you are actually able to do all the same things you would normally be able to do with them? that's how it is for me.
i also find that the more i concentrate on the symptoms the more prominent they become. i just keep reassuring myself that if it was something serious the weakness would be a lot more extreme than a general feeling, and since i have been suffering with these head problems for so long then why would these other symptoms only just appear now. for once i have been able to get a grip and control my anxiety. the doctors are experts and would make steps if they suspected anything was seriously wrong.

ye you have a point, the weakness are just feelings, I am able to do may everyday activities, although i have been banned from the gym by GP untill my test results come through. But my headaches are getting worse and my worry is getting worse to. in work at the moment and on the computer screens make it worse im sure.
