when I'm beginning to wake up in the morning I get a trembling feeling in my body
everything is trembling even my heart, it doesn't hurt
it just feels like everything inside me is buzzing, it's hard to explain the feeling
it's a real feeling that I've had for a long time
my doctor said he didn't know what it could be
I'm really scared that something is wrong with me
It goes after a while and only happens when I wake up
does anyone else have this or know what it could be?
It's not panic
I am so frightened though
thank you if you can help me
I get it all the time it is anxiety and cals down once your up and about. X

I'm 42 but had an early menopause so I don't think it's that
Why does it come before I'm fully conscious
I take effexor XR I wondered if it could be a side effect
sorry to be a nuisance
Hi Logicalgal. I get the same as you, especially when I am having an extra anxious time. Usually by the time I have had a trip to the bathroom it has gone. It's almost as if your body is dreading the start of the day and it wakes up feeling anxious. I also get like a nerve tingling feeling that goes into my bladder, but its not that I need the loo, it feels as though my bladder is anxious too. Does that make sense - probably not? Just try and ignore it and it should calm down.

I had this a few years ago (I don't suffer from HA by the way) when I was waking up and I found it mentioned on here http://www.power-surge.com/php/forums/index.php?act=idx
Apparently it is something you can get.
Have you seen this http://depression.emedtv.com/effexor/effexor-side-effects.html It does mention tremors
I have just begun getting this as well, but I will wake up during the night (typically very early morning) with trembling hands and cannot readily fall asleep again... almost as when I have a fever of influenza or something. Accidentally or not I actually have a cold right now with sinusitis, so I'm waiting to contact my doc until that has cleared up.
Best regards,
Jens B.
