Heart missing a beat?

I have suffered since the beginning of the year with what I believe to be GAD, with many of the symptoms you guys have.

However in the past two nights I have noticed (when I'm quiet in bed, trying to sleep) that my heart seems to be missing a beat. For a second it's as if my heart stops and started again.

Is this normal? Does anyone else suffer?

hi your def not alone i get this every night even when i fall asleep it wakes me up , heart pounding with it its very scary but it wont hurt us , i used to be on propanolol it could be them making it worse always best to check with gp
