If you had the opportunity to vote for the next President of the USA would you vote for Barack Obama or John McCain? I'm interested in how other countries would vote vs. America who as we all know will be voting tomorrow. Thank you for all who participate.

Laura :)

It would have to be Obama, I hate Palin with a passion. Although I am worried McCain will retire if he loses, I love them chips

Is there still much of a debate surrounding Barak Obama's alleged Muslim background & links to Black-Power 'Nation of Islam' extremists over there?

Jaco45er

only by the KKK and bigots and Rednecks

kendo59

Is that correct? It seemed like it was a much wider issue at one point.

He was slated by Jesse Jackson which didn't help. Some civil right activists think he is more for Obama than the common good.

But you know what they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time ;)

America needs to concentrate on what's right for their economy, and not what colour the next president is.

I'm not sure if it's KKK, bigots, or Rednecks who edit the Washington Post newspaper.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/14/AR2008011402083.html

I get the feeling that there are still waaaay too many unanswered questions surrounding Obama.
I do agree that it's a shame so much negative publicity has continued to follow Obama, but he seems to deliberately obfuscate his past background & associations, which leaves the evidence of taped sermons & interviews to speak for itself.

Leaving aside the years Obama allegedly spent attending a radical Wahibi Madrassa (extremist Muslim school) as a boy in Indonesia..
What about his wife being associated with the radical Nation Of Islam minister Louis Farrakhan, making racist rants against "whitey", and saying that her husband being nominated was the first time in her life that she's been proud of her country?
Or Obama's church paster (for the past 20 years) making 1960's-style anti-white anti-American "God Damn America" speeches?
Or Obama having a convicted fraudster as his political fund-raiser and the questionable property dealings between them?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081011/ap_on_el_pr/rezko_spilling_the_beans

The video's are all over youtube/internet. No point blaming it all on KKK bigots & rednecks. It wasn't KKK rednecks making those speeches on camera.

I wouldn't be surprised if the CIA are already lining up a 'Lee Harvey Oswald' in readiness for "President Obama's" inaugural cavalcade.

America is stuffed either way, but I think Obama will reflect a little longer before making the inevitable decision to invade all the oil-producing countries (except Iran, which is backed by Russia).

Sarah Palin is McCain's running mate.
If McCain wins then Palin would be the vice president.
Today is election day so tonite the voting will be over and the results known.
BUT
There has been some problems with voting in the US.
Military absentee ballots were mailed out late and if they aren't in by today they won't count.
Many polling places are having problems with machines breaking down and having to use paper ballots and there aren't people at the polling places to count them.
So it may turn into a bigger mess as the day goes on!

If thats the case Sandy then McCain is deffo going to win or will it be a replay of 2000 only this time it will come down to a nail biting supreme court ruling many questions asked of what went wrong in nebraska lmao

Sarah Palin reminds me of that awful bimbo Secretary of State for Florida played by Laura Dern in the film Recount (about the 2000 presidential election recount fiasco).

The film only came out this year - how apt if it turns into another fiasco this time round. Let's hope not for everyone's sake!

and are members of the military more likely to vote Republican, by any chance?

Don't worry, they'll count the late votes anyway, like they did in 2000 :)

Don't know if you will see this over there but long lines are the truth and I waited an hour and a half to vote. I personally wasn't crazy about either candidate but neither can be worse than what we have had ;-)
