Stomach virus? Food poisoning? Any ideas?

Hiya,

Been really poorly for the last 5 days, constant nausea and churning stomach, really bad mid back pain. Feels like something crawling in my stomach and it's making me feel awful, every time I try to eat something it gets worse. I've been sick a few times but not constant.:emot-puke: :emot-puke:

Is there something going around like stomach flu as this isn't just anxiety???

Any ideas anyone?

Yes there is something going around (isn't there always) I have been ill with diarrhoea and vomiting and my sister who lives in Scotland has also been poorly with diarrhoea and a high temp so join the club.

Yes, there is something going around. Isnt there always this time of year!
Also anxiety can cause these types of symptoms.
I would leave it a few more days and if it is still no better by friday i would go see your doctor. These things usually only last a few days (48 hours) unless of course it's our old friend anxiety, and how long she might stick about is anyones guess.

My daughter had the same symptoms as you discribe for about 10 days
She was give stuff by the doc but none was helping, so the doc done a blood test for a gut bug.
This bug lives in our gut all the time but some times it can play up and make you ill.
her test came back positive and she was given anti bs for two wks
she was as right as rain within a few days
So if these symptoms persist then ask your doc about the gut bug.
