I definitely think it is worth a try. I had more success with hypnosis than anything else I tried until I learned cbt which was what proved to be what worked best for me. The more things you try the sooner you will find what works for you. If you have not tried cbt I would certainly add it to your lists of things to try as well. It takes practice but has worked great for me and most of the people I know who have worked at it.
