Evening all
i was just wondering if i can take paracetamol?? ive got such a bad headache and it doesnt say in the leaflet. Im on 10mg of citalopram.

As far as I know thats fine. If you are in doubt maybe give NHS Direct a call?
Yes you can, there are not many things you cant take with citalopram
i had a bad head the first time i took them and used paracetamol ,i don't get any headaches now,i've been on them for 2 weeks.

Yeah, paracetamols OK but not asprin.
Paracetamol is absolutley fine. I've never taken Asprin, but you should avoid Ibuprofen based painkillers, as they can interact with Citalopram, and increase the risk of a gastrointestinal (stomach basically) bleed. Anti inflamatory tablets (diclofenac for example) are also not reccomended.
