Pariet 20mg Tablests (nausea and acid).

Hi all,

My symtoms have come back (24/7 nausea and feeling/tasting acid).

I have a months subscription of Pariet 20mg tablets, the doctor gave me last time, which I did not take but as the symtoms have come back, I have decided to take them first, instead of running to my doctor.

I have taken one yesterday morning and one this morning but I have not yet noticed any relief and I was wondering if these tablets, will take several days to start working and why is it only one a day?

I'm not sure what Pariet is but is it for the acid? (a proton pump inhibitor) If it is then I think it will take maybe 5-7 days to start working - I know the omeprazole capsules did with me.:)

Yes, it's for acid and looking at the leaflet, it does say (proton pump inhibitor).

Well, they worked but after 4 days off them, the acid is back.

Can stress and anxiety cause acid?
