Introducing myself

Hi. I'm a 51 year old woman. I've suffered from depression for at least 20 years and have had panic attacks for about the same number of years. At first, they were quite infrequent, but within the last 5 years, I've stopped driving on highways because of panic attacks. I want to get help, as being unable to drive on highways is very limiting. I've gone as far as asking my doctor for the name of someone to talk to, but I've never gotten around to calling anyone. It's a relief to be able to read stories from others who understand what I'm going through.
