Sharpness in back when food going down?

Hi all

Had some issues with uncomfortableness when swallowing recently. Have noticed over last few days that when I eat bulkier food such as bread or bagels, when I swallow them I can feel them going down my gullet and I get a sharpness in my back as they are passing down.

Anyone ever had this before???

Ouch, yes I have had this before. Quite a few times. Im not sure why, but what I do know is its nothing to worry about. Does hurt though.

try not to worry, maybe try chewing your food a bit more? Good luck

Thanks although its not only bulkier food - i'm eating maltesers whilst typing this and I can still feel them going down and sharpness.

I'm going to see a dr on Thursday - enough is enough!!

i get this but omeprazole has helped
