Yep - palpitations in all their forms are as frightening as can be - the thing to remember is that palpitations on the whole are perfectly normal and surprisingly common!

Generally panic itself can cause palpitations, but it might be worth a quick visit to the GP - depending on your age and lifestyle, just to rule out any problems there could be.

I've had terrible episodes of palpitations, and visited my GP and was told there wasn't any problem, and gradually they have stopped coming.

I think dwelling on them tends to make them worse but I know just how worrying they can be

Kind regards,

Dave

Hi Cheeky

Look at the box running down the left side of your screen and click on palpitations....it tells you all about them on there. Hope it helps to reassure you. They are VERY common amongst people with anxiety.

Take care.
