Gm From The Us!

Does Anyone Else Always Feel Tired All The Time? Sometimes Just Walking From The Living Room To The Bedroom Exhausts Me. Same Thing With Folding Laundry, Etc. I Started Doing Basic House Chores Yesterday And It Took Me 4 Hours To Vacuum And Dust And Do Dishes. And We Live In A Very Small Place! Every Five Minutes Or So I Would Have To Sit Down For Awhile And Get A Little Energy Back. And When I Get Up And Do These Things My Head Always Feels Weird...like I've Been Out In Cold Air For A Brisk Walk. Hard To Explain. Now I Do Have That Problem With Imbalance...like When I Vacuum I'm Always Leaning To The Right And It Takes So Much Energy To Focus And Try To Keep Myself Upright. I Guess Using Mental Energy Can Drain You, Too. I'm Not Nearly As Active I Was 3 Years Ago So Lack Of Excercise Can Tire One Out As Well, I Guess. My Thoughts Are All Over The Place Today :)

Lacey honey welcome to the club! LOL. Yes I feel like that sometimes. The fact that you're trying to move around and do things is your first step to healing. You're gonna get better little by little. Don't worry about the imbalance. Set your legs apart a little when you walk, I know not very lady like but just walk and drink fluids and know that you won't fall over! Even if you do, it's ok, you get up and try again :)

Hi Lacey,

I feel the same way, your post could have been mine. I hope that comforts you because I was starting think I was the only one that was feeling like this. I am only 42 and I feel sometimes like I am 90. I have alot of muscle tension in my neck and back. which is why my body aches so much. This anxiety thing is so exhausting!

Hi Yanks And Ty For Responding To My Post!

I Took Your Advice And Kept My Legs Apart While Doing Dishes Today And It Did Seem To Help A Little Although It Made My Husband Laugh At My Stance Lol

I'm Convinced That I Have An Inner Ear Problem...an Er Dr Told Me I May Have Labyrinthitis (sp?) And That I Need To See An Ent. Unfortunately I Don't Have The Funds To Go See A Specialist. Being Dizzy And Panicky All The Time Keeps Me From Working. I Think If I Could Get My Inner Ear Disorder Cleared Up The Panic Would Lessen.

Anyway Thanks Again!

Lacey

Hi D!

It does comfort me to know I'm not alone in any of this...sad to say but it makes me feel better to know others are going through the same thing. I wish none of us had to go through this. So very dibillitating. I've been making myself get out and walk a little each day. It's not very far but I'm setting goals for myself. I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired. A friend of mine told me that the more I start moving each day the better it will get energy wise. It's very difficult for me to go out in open spaces so I'm confronting those open spaces when I go outside. Somedays I'm fine and other days I feel like passing out. I have to use a cane now to help with my balance. I'm already wearing myself out thinking of the drive I have to take into town next week for an appointment with a gp...just the though of having to ride in the truck and go around people is freaking me out. I need to get a handle on this.
I see you're from the US...what state? I'm in Kentucky.

Hi Lacey,

When I was in my early 30s I went through a period of about 5 years where I'd feel really tired about half the time, for several weeks or months after I'd had a cold. It gradually got better.

I have met a lot of people who've had a similar experience. One of my friends' doctors told her that it's quite common for people's immune systems to go through a "bad patch", with the result of chronic tiredness.

I don't know if this is relevant to you, it was just a thought.

Hi Lacey,

You hit the nail on the head when you said you are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I agree 100%. That is how I feel. Like you said, I have good days and bad days, lately ther have been more bad. I also have had alot going on in my life, so that would explain my bad days.
I live in Rhode Island, and the winter is here it has been very cold.
Take care,
D
