Why does depersonalisation do this? please advice

Why does it make you question everything like who we are, how do we work e'g breathe, talk, think, etc and then it freaks you out. also is looking at other people and wondering how they 'be' is this part of dp? will this thinking style go when the depersonalisation goes?? also it feels like im not thinking if that makes any sense or like my thoughts are not in my head?? anyone relate?

I think it is not so much the thoughts but that your tired mind cannot cope with them? I remember questioning everything a lot more than I do now. So yes it does go. I put it all down to a tired mind that is going in circles looking for answers. Hope this helps somewhat, I really recommend anxietynomore (Paul David's book in particular) for explaining it really well :hugs:
