Snot Colour Question (nice!!)

I have swollen glands and lots of nice clear snot and mucus.... I have got it into my head this is cancer of the sinus or nose (linked to my ongoing problems) as think if it were a cold, wouldn't the snot by green or yellow??? Can you help?

Colour is not necessarily green or yellow when you have a cold - can just as easily be clear. With a viral infection rather than bacterial I think clear rather than coloured is more common? When I had my never-ending viral infection (that I'm sure I've told everyone about by now - sorry to keep going on about it!) it was clear.
