fear of illness

am i right in thinking this is a common phobia? its took a while to realise what starts my panic attacks but it always revolves around illness....i have newborn baby and im scared s**tless he is going to get ill and die...my son aged 6 has a virus and high temp of 39.7 and im scared my baby and my 4 year old will get it and ruin xmas as well as there not being anyone to help over xmas..

I was the exact same when my son was born (10 years ago)
:ohmy: Lol. Every time he got sick, sneezed, coughed or ran a tempreture, i had him at the doctor convinced it was something major but it never was. I spoke to my health visitor one day about my so called phobic behaviour and she showed me a whole different side to it.

Their tiny little amune systems are quite able to fight off all the usual bugs and viruses and can even help strengthen the amune system itself.

Please try to relax hun because nothing is going to happen to your baby!
