Hey People…! I have something to ask that does anyone know the fastest and the easiest way to get rid of back pain. As I am facing this problem since a long time and it’s getting serious day by day. I have already gone for many medications and exercises but they all proved to b of no help. It’s really intolerable. Please help me to get rid of it. I’ll b waiting for your replies.

hiya and my hubby had exactly the same problems, he would go to docs and just b told its muscular everytime and b given strong painkillers.

eventually he went to proper back person who charge him around 50 pounds for 45mins, but was best thing he did cos they were veryt thorough and told him exactly wot the prob was and the correct exercises to help ease the problem, he had had to go back a few times for massages etc but in my opinion docs are rubbish if u havent already hun, go to a back specialist.

Agree with donna athe majority of gp's are a waste of space...my hubby suffers in the same way and is crippled some days with back pain, but he now sees a chiropractor £27 a time but its done him the world of good. Also we invested in a 'memory foam mattress toppper' (£50) was on sale on qvc...but its really worth it because it so comfortable and deffo does improve your aches and pains which also helps you sleep better too. If you can get a good nights sleep i find it helps you cope.
Take care

I suppose at the end of the day it depends on the doctor. I have found my doctors to be very good. I have had an op on my back and now I have spondylosis I am due to see the orthopaedic consultant next month.

Have you had an MRI? You really need a diagnosis before treatment. It could be a disc problem or muscular. Physical therapy can do wonders and there are so many exercises that can keep the pain from coming back or at least minimizing it. Some people benefit from acupuncture. I know how debilitating it is. I try to remember to bring my knees to my chest every day to stretch the spine but I would never recommend anything to someone before they're diagnosed. See if you can get an MRI if you haven't and if you're scared of the "tunnel" as I am, request an open MRI.
