1) Google can find a serious illness to match almost any symptom...
2) Diazepam is a cure for repetitve heart attacks...
3) During a panic attack I KNOW BEST and everyone else is WRONG...
4) AFTER a panic attack it turns out that they were right...
5) My Doctor looks forward to seeing me as he enjoys a good chat...
6) ALL psychiatrists got into the profession merely to mask their own fears...
7) Being sectioned is vastly over-rated...
8) Breaking out of hospital is normal..breaking INTO one isn't ( trust me!)..

And finally...and this is completely true..I really did do this...

9) If you ever decide to end it all by jumping under a train...check that the tracks aren't rusty, its a very long wait...
Anyone else learned anything useful ??

omg....haha i know!! During a panic attack, i just think "how do they know im not dying (or whatever i am panicking about lol), they arent experiencing it. have you seen mystery diagnosis?"
i really need to stop watching those shows........ so addicting though.
one think i learned about phsyciatrists/counslers/hypnotherapists/etc.
1.)If you are under the age of 18, they assume you were sexually abused or just abused and spend all their time trying to make you confess.

I reckon I ought to print out number 1 in foot high letters and frame it on my wall. I am sat here with (in my mind borderline chronic) lower back/hip pain. Anyone normal would see all the websites that said how normal it was. I of course, found the websites telling me about tumours and aneurysms.

Stinking Google.

Yeah Google can be evil!
Mild Headache = Onset Menigitis
Short of breath = At LEAST cancer ( NOTHING to do with the ciggy I just put out....
Tiredness = ME, nothing to with the restless night the night before...

Seriously... if Google was a good place to check your symptoms it would have M.D. or F.R.C.S after it instead of .com

That made me laugh notator especially...

7) Being sectioned is vastly over-rated...
8) Breaking out of hospital is normal..breaking INTO one isn't

I can totally relate to both of them!
