Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place or there is already a similar topic.

Just wondering if there are any other ibs sufferers out there, I suffer from it badly and it adds to my anxiety and panic attacks ten fold. Ifind myself thinking about it and worrying about it all day long and it drives me crazy. The ibs and anxiety is a viscous circle as each other makes the other worse!

How I wish there was a miracle cure :weep:

I am not really sure if i have IBS, i get bad stomache cramps and feel bad in stomache moste of the time.

I caa relate to your problem that this makes my anxiety much worse.
It just needs a little upset stomache for me to get bad anxiety and then things gets worse very fast.

Oh yes - there's several of us on here! Mine is better since I started seeing an osteopath who specialises in such lovely areas! But I had a few attacks over Xmas and it brought back lots of anxiety and bad memories.

Hi Stella Bella

I suffer with IBS a lot too. My problem is going to the loo often rather than diahrrea or constipation, especially at night which I think is the key factor for me. It always seems to start as I get into bed, I get the mild cramps and feel like I need to go and then I'm backwards and forwards to the loo half the night. I end up anxious and exhausted. I absolutely hate it!! I am having a bad spell at the moment and the trouble is it can take over your life a bit. I can't stop thinking about it come the evening and so I predispose myself to the attacks at night. I could cope during the day, well at least I think I could, but I hate night time anyway so anything that keeps me awake is a bogey for me. I can really sympathise with you, what is your worst scenario:weep: ??
