Hi, I wonder if anyone has experienced the following whist taking Fluoxetine?
I have been on a 20mg dose, daily, for the last 4 years but, due to an increase in my anxiety/panic level, my Dr. upped my dose to 40mg the week before Christmas. Within 10 days, the anxiety was much less and I seemed to have a handle on things. Yesterday, however, I woke up with what I can only describe as a Hyperventillation feeling.......as though I were having to control my in and out breaths. It lasted for about half an hour and then disappeared. At dinner time last night, I had this strange feeling in the centre of my chest which I can only describe as a feeling of 'apprehension'. The difference from previous feelings of this type was that the 'feeling' was actually quite 'pleasant' - almost like the feeling you might get on a first date or some other pleasureable occurance. Can anyone explain what this might be? I certainly have never experienced it before.:blush:
