citalopram users?

hi...i was prescribed 10mg citralopram a weekago for anxieity andpanic attacks..first few days werent great and on day 7 im started to feel asif i can conquer more daily things..does any1 have any view or experiecnes on this med in the long term if it works..??

Hiya

I was put on this in August, i didnt think it had been working so after 2months they put me onto fluxotine which was terrible and i done some nasty things to myself. after that they then put me back onto citalopram that was in October,i was put on 20mg then upto 40mg. it has helped me alot, i hadnt realeased untill at xmas time i had forgot to take them for 4 days.. i went mad and was so upset for a couple of days.. i have been taking them everyday since then and i am fine.. so stick in there cos they do work... i just never realsed it b4
