Sorry if this is a stupid question but If your having a heart problem does that mean your blood pressure will be off? Can it be somewhat normal (114/70) during a heart attack or some kind of heart problem?

In a heart attack the blood pressure normally decreases. It definatley wouldn't be within the normal range. [: x

Hi There- Not sure if this helps or not but my doc recently told me that if you were having a heart attack then your blood pressure increases above the 140 mark or higher, and the symptoms of a heart attack if you were having one would get worse within 20 mins of first sign - if it carrys on for longer than this then it is virtually impossible for it to be heart related. The lower your blood pressure is the less likely you are to have heart attacks/strokes.
I am 31 and ive been told an ideal blood pressure for someone of my age should be below a 140.

So with yours being as it is this is really good so yu have no need to worry :D

During a heart attack your blood pressure increases & if there are any complications ie cardiogenic shock it will decrease.
Dont worry you are fine, i had the heart obsession to but really i think we would know if it was serious xx

That’s a good blood pressure reading, id imagine that any sort of sudden heart problem would cause it to either drop or rise drastically.
